Mathematics is the language of the universe.

About me

My name is Chelsea and I am an experienced tutor/teacher for 5+ years. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics (3.99/4.00 GPA) with a minor in physics. I started tutoring at my undergraduate institution since I was 19 years old, and have been immersed in the community since. Back then, I mainly TA/tutored college-level math, physics, and chemistry courses, but I also have many high school tutees who are passionate about learning. Besides tutoring, I was a researcher at MIT and Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics working on galaxies and black holes (hence the name, Spacetime Study). My goal of teaching is to focus on the methodology rather than rote memorization. I wish to inspire young and adult learners to step into the STEM world and be well-rounded for the real-world challenges.
